Berries

Saw these every day growing wild on our journey through Germany. Anyone know what these are called?

  1. Those berries are called "Eberesche" (Sorbus aucuparia - latin), aka "Vogelbeere" ("Birdberries"). As kids we were told these are dangerously toxic. Which is totaly untrue. They contain LOTS of vitamin C and are quite tasty when cooked (jelly) or as icecream.
